Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
Why does this seem so hard to find? I think it is because we try to use our minds instead of our hearts towards Jesus. Jesus is love. He was sent out of love for us and He showed this by dying for us, despite us being 'guilty' as sinners when he died. Pretty powerful.
I used to think love was a set of expectations met. It is so much more profound than that.
Start today and ask God to show you His love. Once you begin to see His love for you, you will be very amazed at how other forms of what you thought was love begin to leave and you start searching for more of God to fill that space. He will pour love into you as much as you allow Him to. It isn't about just reading your bible, it IS about forming a relationship with Him. That starts with communication.
Ask Papa God to show you His love towards you.
