When I first thought of writing scripts for videos, I thought I would be writing one video at a time. I had a list of topics that I wanted to write about and my husband and I sat down and began brainstorming.
We started with Fear ~ 2 Timothy 1:7. This video script took two to three weeks to complete and then we moved on to the next video on my list which was Identity. My plan was to make all the videos as single, stand alone videos.
The Lord had a different idea.
As time went on, that one video moved into another; then into another and it ended as a 14 video series titled 'Identity Out of Abuse.' It took my husband and I five months to write the series and have the scripts reviewed. It then took us 4 months to record and edit all 14 videos. 9 months. That's a long time for what I thought was going to be one video.
Have you ever thought you were going in a certain direction and then all of a sudden you are going an entirely different way? I have. I've learned our path is in the Lord's hands and His way is ALWAYS better.
It turns out that this series has not only blessed others, but it has blessed my husband and I. It has transformed and changed our lives, our relationship and even how we work together. The whole process has blessed us in very deep ways and I'm so thankful for that!
God has shown me many times that in order to be the teacher, I need to first be the student and I've learned to be okay with that! I believe this video series will bless you tremendously! How can I say that? Because it did for me!
